The NSS Special Camp was a meaningful and enriching experience for the 40 participating volunteers. The camp helped students develop a stronger sense Ofsocial teamwork, leadership and community engagement. The volunteers gained practical exposure to community-oriented activities and developed a better understanding of the challenges and needs of the local community. Working collectively helped them recognise their individual strengths while also learning the importance of cooperation and mutual support. The camp successfully reinforced the NSS motto "Not Me But You" by encouraging volunteers to prioritise community welfare and service. It also contributed to the overall personality development Of the students, fostering empathy, discipline, confidence and a spirit Of selfless service. Overall, the NSS Special Camp at Kachamaranahalli Village served as an effective community outreach and extension initiative, strengthening the bond between the institution and the community while inspiring students to become responsible and socially committed citizens.

On the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, The Indian Red Cross Society, Karnataka State Branch, organized a special program on 9th October 2025 to honour and felicitate their esteemed organisers for their significant contribution to the Blood Transfusion Service.In this regard the Indian Red Cross Society, Karnataka State Branch, presented a Certificate of Appreciation to BMS College for Commerce and Management. The certificate recognises the college's outstanding dedication and support in organising blood donation camps over the past few years.
